    Michael Howard Taylor.

    Born May 28, 1955, in Varner, AR. Died at home in Steilacoom, WA, Feb. 10, 2026.

    – Michael’s family moved from Arkansas to California, where he attended elementary school through high school in Paso Robles, CA. In 1974, Michael joined the United States Army and served honorably for twenty-one years. After military service, Michael continued his education, graduating from City University with a bachelor’s degree in computer science.

    Michael enjoyed golfing and was an avid sports enthusiast. He was always ready with quick wit and a smile to share with family and friends.

    Michael is preceded in death by his parents Ardella and Elwin Williams Sr. Sister Anita Williams, brother Melvin Williams Sr.

    Michael is survived by his wife of thirty-four years Welthea of Steilacoom, WA; sons Michael T Taylor of Glendale, AZ and William Tatum of Steilacoom, WA; three granddaughters Savannah, Mariah, and Cynthia; brothers Larry (Gwen) Taylor of Hayward CA, and Elwin (Dorthea) Williams of Fairfield, CA; sisters Cynthia Williams and Brenda (Graham) Francis of Stockton CA. Family friend Billy (Tammy) Cardwell of Lakewood WA. Michael is also survived by a host of beloved nieces and nephews.
