Templeton women’s club plans Spring Tea and fundraisers

Proceeds will fund scholarships and charitable giving across North County

    – The Templeton Women’s Charitable Club will host its annual Spring Tea and Silent Auction on April 1 as part of a series of community fundraisers supporting scholarships and charitable programs throughout North San Luis Obispo County, according to the organization.

The Spring Tea serves as a fundraiser and membership drive, featuring donated items and curated baskets available through a silent auction. Proceeds support the club’s scholarship program and charitable giving across North County, according to the organization.

Women interested in joining the organization may attend the event to learn more about its mission, meet current members, and explore ways to support scholarships and community initiatives.

In addition to the Spring Tea, the club’s spring schedule includes a drive-thru lasagna dinner fundraiser on March 11. The meal, prepared by Bonnie Marie Catering, feeds a family of four for $60, and orders must be placed by March 1. Proceeds support the club’s charitable initiatives throughout North County, according to the organization.

The schedule also includes a Spring Fashion Exchange on March 19 at Upscale Resale Women’s Designer Consignor Boutique. The event aims to promote sustainability and community engagement while raising funds for local causes, according to the organization.

“These events reflect the heart of our organization,” said MeShawn Dimos, president of Templeton Women’s Charitable Club. “For 113 years, women in this community have come together to invest in education, support local needs, and strengthen North County. We welcome women who are interested in being part of that legacy to join us.”

The club is seeking silent auction donations. Businesses and residents interested in contributing items, services, or time may participate, according to the organization.

Founded in 1913, the Templeton Women’s Charitable Club supports education and charitable efforts throughout North San Luis Obispo County through organized fundraising and charitable giving, according to the organization.
