    – Audrey Warren, a Biological Science major from Paso Robles, was named to Biola University’s dean’s list for academic excellence for the fall 2025 semester.

Warren was one of approximately 1,700 students named to the dean’s list. Students are placed on the dean’s list to honor those with a grade-point average of 3.6 or higher while enrolled in 12 or more credits and whose cumulative grade-point average is at least 3.2.

“Inclusion in Biola University’s Dean’s List is reserved for students who demonstrate exceptional performance in their academic studies. This honor signifies hard work, engagement, and investment in scholarship,” said Dr. Tamara Anderson, senior associate provost. “These attributes are the building blocks of continued success, not only in the classroom, but in the workplace and in the student’s personal lives. We celebrate these students and their achievement, looking forward to their future accomplishments.”

Biola University celebrated its 118th anniversary since its founding in 1908 on Feb. 25. The university reported the largest incoming class of undergraduate and graduate students since 2019. The division of technology received more than $40 million to support student scholarships and engineering facilities. The Talbot School of Theology received a $10 million Lilly Endowment grant to help establish Talbot Embedded, an expansion of Bible courses to locations across the country.

Founded in 1908, Biola University provides education, scholarship, and service through its academic programs. The university has more than 5,000 students at its Southern California campus and around the world. Its eight schools offer more than 250 academic programs at the bachelor’s, master’s, and doctoral levels.
