Paso Lotus Club group takes coastal drive to Ragged Point
Participants include drivers from Paso Robles and surrounding communities
– Members of the Paso Lotus Car Club met March 5 for a group drive from Atascadero to the Central Coast.
The group gathered at the Circle K parking lot in Atascadero before heading west on Highway 41. Participants included Richard Murray in his Elise; David Thomson and Mary-Ellen I in his Emira; Dennis and Marla Sol in their Elan; Obie and Joy Silverwood in their Emira; Dave Low and Mary Dwight in his Porsche; and Steve Carle in his Emira.
After reaching Morro Bay, the group continued north on Highway 1 for a coastal drive before arriving at Ragged Point Restaurant for lunch.
Club members said they enjoyed a meal and ocean views at the restaurant.
Steve Carle organized and led the drive.
On the return trip, Silverwood said he saw Murray’s bright orange Elise pulled over by the California Highway Patrol.
