Atascadero to host ‘Coffee with a Planner’ on General Plan progress
Monthly sessions cover land use, zoning, city policy, and development projects
– The Atascadero Community Development Department will host a “Coffee with a Planner” session Thursday, March 19, at 9 a.m. at Malibu Brew Coffee.
The topic for the session will be the 2045 General Plan, the Zoning Code Update, and the associated Draft Environmental Impact Report. The planning division is continuing work on the 2045 General Plan Update and associated Zoning Code updates, and is currently in the environmental review stage and completing a draft environmental impact report.
The informal sessions allow staff to hear from the community on topics including land use, zoning, city policy, and development projects. Each session highlights a specific topic, but staff will address additional topics as time allows. The goal of the sessions is to allow for open dialogue and provide a casual, accessible opportunity for ongoing community input.
The event is held on the third Thursday of each month, and community members are welcome to attend any future sessions.
