Dracaena Wines hosts dog treat event to benefit humane society

Guests will make no-bake treats for their dogs while sipping wine

Dracaena Wines will host “Francs & Fur-iends: A No-Bake Treat & Sip Social” on Sunday, April 26, at 5 p.m. at the winery’s tasting room at 1244 Pine St. in Paso Robles.

The event serves as a wrap-up for the Wine4Paws weekend and will benefit Woods Humane Society.

Guests are invited to make no-bake dog treats using dog-approved, healthy ingredients. They can also enjoy a glass of Dracaena’s signature Cabernet Franc, wine cocktails or mocktails, and a screening of “101 Dalmatians.”

“We wanted to create a finale for Wine4Paws that truly celebrates the bond between humans and their pets,” said the team at Dracaena Wines. “It’s a chance to relax after a busy weekend of wine tasting, make something special for your pup, and raise money for animals in need.”

Proceeds will go to Woods Humane Society, which provides shelter, medical care, and adoption services for homeless pets in San Luis Obispo County.

Wine4Paws is an annual event that unites Central Coast wineries, breweries, and olive oil producers to raise funds for the humane society.

Space is limited. Tickets are available at eventbrite.com.
