Sherman’s Legacy PourFest raises funds for veterans’ honor flights

Honor Flight Central Coast California is the event’s beneficiary.
Event set for June 6 at Estrella Warbird Museum
– Sherman’s Legacy Wine & Dine PourFest will be held Saturday, June 6, from 5:30–9 p.m. at Estrella Warbird Museum Hangar One in Paso Robles.
The event honors the memory of Sherman Smoot and his devotion to the nation’s veterans. Honor Flight Central Coast California is the beneficiary.
The festival will feature pours from Central Coast wineries and breweries, a BBQ steak dinner with sides, fresh-baked bread, and desserts. General admission tickets are $100 and include a keepsake wine glass.
Two VIP packages are available: the Medal of Honor package at $5,000 and the Silver Star package at $2,500. Each includes eight tickets, a reserved table, wine, Honor Flight merchandise, and additional items.
The event will also feature a silent and live auction with items including trips, dinners, and tickets.
All proceeds go directly to Honor Flight Central Coast California to fund the organization’s veteran honor flight trip to Washington, D.C. this September. Activities on the trip include visits to Arlington Cemetery, the Changing of the Guard, the Military Women’s Memorial, the Vietnam Wall, the World War II Memorial, the Air Force Memorial, the Iwo Jima Memorial, Fort McHenry, Annapolis Naval Academy, and the Korean Memorial.
