Author to debut novel at San Miguel winery

Debut novel “Fooled Me” explores friendship, love, and trauma

Graveyard Vineyards will host a book signing and author reading event for local author T.L. Brien on March 29 from 1 to 3 p.m.

The event will feature Brien’s debut novel, “Fooled Me,” and will include a live reading, book signings, wine, light snacks, and raffle prize drawings. The gathering is open to the public, and no tickets are required.

“Fooled Me” is the first installment in a two-part series. The novel follows a young woman navigating relationships with two male friends during high school. The story addresses themes of friendship, love, and trauma. “They were my best friends, crushes and loves…until they weren’t. Not every tale has a happy ending.”
