Firefighters respond to commercial fire on Spring Street
Crews find fire extinguished on second floor of building
– Paso Robles Fire and Emergency Services responded to a fire alarm with reported smoke at a building at 1319 Spring St. on Wednesday at approximately 4:37 p.m.
Firefighters arrived to find light smoke inside the building and an ակտիվ sprinkler system. Crews investigated and determined that a fire had occurred on the second floor of the business and had been extinguished. The fire was contained to a single room on the second floor.
Firefighters remained at the scene until approximately 6:28 p.m. to assist building owners with removing water and salvaging contents to prevent further damage.
Two fire engines, one fire truck, one squad unit, and one battalion chief responded to the incident, with a total of 12 firefighters on scene. The Paso Robles Police Department assisted with the response.
The cause of the fire remains under investigation.
