Chorus and orchestra present Piano Palooza in Templeton
Performance features Beethoven and Gershwin with guest soloist Susan Azaret Davies
– The Cuesta Concord Chorus and Orchestra will present “Piano Palooza!” on May 3 at 3 p.m. at the Templeton Performing Arts Center.
The concert will celebrate the restoration of the Templeton Performing Arts Center Steinway B piano. The ensemble was founded and is directed by Cassandra Tarantino, with accompaniment by Ryan Hartzell.
The program will feature Ludwig van Beethoven’s “Choral Fantasy” and George Gershwin’s “Rhapsody in Blue.” Guest piano soloist Susan Azaret Davies will perform with the ensemble.
The performance will also include the Paso Robles High School Chorus, directed by Cassandra Tarantino.
Tickets are free for veterans and their spouses, and reservations must be made in advance. Admission is offered on a pay-what-you-can basis, with a suggested donation of $22. Tickets may be reserved online or by calling the box office at (805) 546-3198.
