Paso Robles Police officers complete 120-mile Baker to Vegas relay 

– The Paso Robles Police Department competed in the Baker to Vegas Challenge Cup Relay this past weekend, completing the 120-mile race from Baker to Las Vegas.

Led by Team Captain Corporal Elizabeth Place and Sgt. Tyler Pierce, 20 officers participated in the race, which takes place in desert conditions and includes steep climbs along the route. The team trained for months in preparation for the event.

The Paso Robles Police Department placed eighth in its category, marking the highest finish in the agency’s history. The department was also the only law enforcement agency representing San Luis Obispo County in this year’s race.

The department said the result reflects its commitment to teamwork and service.
