Paso Robles golf tournament to support ALS care, research

The event honors Martha Olson-Fernandez, who died after a two-year battle with ALS.
Event scheduled for May 16 at Hunter Ranch Golf Course
– The Martha Olson-Fernandez Foundation will host its 14th annual Swing to Find a Cure golf tournament on May 16 at Hunter Ranch Golf Course in Paso Robles.
The event will begin with registration and the driving range opening at 7:30 a.m., followed by a shotgun start at 8:30 a.m. The course is located at 4041 CA-46 in Paso Robles.
The tournament supports ALS research and care grants for individuals living with ALS on the Central Coast. Organizers said the event sells out each year, and entries are already three-quarters full from early bird registration.
The foundation stated that participants contribute to efforts aimed at assisting those affected by ALS.
The event honors Martha Olson-Fernandez, who died after a two-year battle with ALS. Organizers said she was a wife, mother, daughter, sister, and friend, and that her family continues efforts to support others affected by the disease.
