Paso Robles boxer wins majority decision in ESPN debut
With this win, Subia improves his record to 4-0 with three knockouts
– Atascadero and Paso Robles boxer JJ Subia earned a majority decision victory in his ESPN debut on April 3 at Pechanga Resort & Casino, fighting under Manny Pacquiao Promotions.
Subia defeated previously undefeated Francisco Casillas (3-0) of Maywood Boxing, handing Casillas his first professional loss. With the win, Subia improves his record to 4-0 with three knockouts.
The event was headlined by a minimumweight world title bout between Taduran and Perez. Subia’s fight appeared on the undercard, which also featured Manny Pacquiao’s son.
Subia trains at Goat Shack Boxing in Paso Robles.
