Wine 4 Paws weekend unveils new pet-lover’s wine tasting map, special events

    – Wine 4 Paws announced its 2026 wine tasting map and lineup of events scheduled for April 25-26, with participating businesses pledging to donate 10% of proceeds to Woods Humane Society.

The annual fundraiser includes more than 75 participating wineries, olive oil companies, restaurants, hotels, tour companies, and other businesses throughout the region. Many participants will also host special events beginning April 24 and continuing through the weekend.

“Each year, our wine country businesses show up to support Wine 4 Paws in such fun and creative ways,” said Wine 4 Paws organizer Sarah Tomasetti. “From wine tasting, dining, live music, auctions, and special classes for humans to bacon tasting, special treats, pet portraits & fashion shows, and pup cups for dogs, local wine enthusiasts and pet-lovers have so many incredible ways to support the animals at Woods Humane Society this year! It’s a win-win-win for you, your pets, and the pets at Woods.”

Organizers said the fundraiser comes as Woods Humane Society responds to an early baby season on the Central Coast. The organization reported 80 puppies adopted in March and more than 100 kittens and puppies currently in foster care.

“There really isn’t a better, feel-good weekend than Wine 4 Paws weekend, giving locals the chance to enjoy wine and so many fun events while directly supporting essential, hands-on care for vulnerable puppies and kittens,” said Chief Executive Officer Emily L’Heureux.

This year’s tasting trails include locations along 46 West and 46 East, Tin City, downtown Paso Robles, the Pleasant Valley Wine Trail, Creston, Vineyard Road and Peachy Canyon Drive, Nacimiento Lake Drive, Edna Valley in San Luis Obispo, and the communities of Cambria, Morro Bay, Atascadero, and Santa Margarita. Organizers recommend reservations for wine tasting at many locations.

Events scheduled throughout the weekend include a kickoff party on April 24 hosted by Hayseed and Housdon, food and live music offerings at Barton Family Estate, a pop-up boutique and fashion show at Four Sisters Ranch, and a German dinner with live music at Graveyard Vineyards. Additional activities include wine and food pairings at Hunt Cellars, a bark and bacon tasting event for dogs at Jada Vineyards, baked goods for pets and people at Oso Libre Winery, and a silent auction and live music at Tackitt Family Vineyards.

Other events include live music performances at Shale Oak Winery and J Dusi Wines, wine and food specials with offerings for dogs at Aronhill Vineyards, a hosting workshop at Dilecta Wines, custom pet tag stamping at Turley Wine Cellars, and a wrap-up event at Dracaena Wines featuring a dog treat class and a screening of “101 Dalmatians.”

Organizers said additional events and online wine and shipping specials are being added, with proceeds supporting shelter, medical care, and adoption services for animals.

Woods Humane Society operates locations at 875 Oklahoma Ave. in San Luis Obispo and 2300 Ramona Road in Atascadero. The facilities are open daily from 12-5 p.m., with adoption hours from 12-4 p.m. For more information, call (805) 543-9316.
