Benefit concert to support Paso Robles teacher grants
Event at J Dusi Winery to feature live music, food, and auctions
– The Paso Robles Education Alliance will host a benefit concert on May 3 at J Dusi Winery.
The event will run from 12 to 4 p.m. and will include live music, food, and auctions. Food will be available from Junction Restaurant. Organizers said the concert will feature a live and silent auction with items including a five-night stay at a Shaver Lake vacation home, a private airplane tour of the Central Coast for two, a staycation package, and artwork from local artists.
Musicians will perform at the event, including Emily Smith and the Counterfeit Kings, and they are donating their time.
The organization raises funds for teacher grants in the Paso Robles school district. Organizers said the group has provided thousands of dollars in grants this year to support programs not covered by standard budgets, including art, science, music, and reading materials.
Attendees may bring a low chair or a blanket to the event.
