Waffles is an 8-pound chihuahua mix believed to be about four years old. She is housebroken and described as a shy dog at first meeting who becomes affectionate once she feels safe. She enjoys being held and seeks a home where someone is present often.
The rescue said Waffles arrived from a Bakersfield shelter with no prior leash experience and had not been eating dog food. She is currently working on both. She is noted for hopping as she moves and for seeking close contact with people.
