Bike Month event planned at Paso Robles Historic Train Depot
– The Historic Train Depot, Cypher Winery, and participating Paso Robles Downtown Main Street Association businesses will host a Bike Month pop-up and staging event on May 15 at the depot at the Paso Robles Transportation Center on Pine Street.
The event, titled “Gears and Cheers,” will run from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. at the Historic Depot, located at the Paso Robles Transportation Center on Pine Street.
The gathering is part of Bike Month activities and will serve as a “refresh and ride” opportunity along the Amtrak platform. Local businesses on Main Street will participate to promote cycling awareness and destinations accessible by bicycle.
Organizers said the event will serve as a staging ground for future North County biking efforts, combining cycling with wellness-focused activities.
The event will include a pop-up market featuring local handcrafted goods and food items. Attendees can also participate in a panel discussion focused on movement and wellness, as well as on-site chair massage and Reiki sessions designed for cyclists.
An exploration of future plans for the Historic Depot will also be presented, focusing on its role as a hub for trail access and safety in North County.
Visitors will have access to nearby food and beverage options, including the Cypher Winery lounge and nearby establishments such as Goshi and The Junction.
Organizers said the Historic Depot is expanding its role as a transit location to include community gathering and outdoor access in Paso Robles.
