Driver arrested after crashing into parked car in San Luis Obispo 

Police reported multiple empty alcohol containers inside vehicle

– San Luis Obispo Police Department said officers arrested a driver on suspicion of driving under the influence after a collision late Friday night in San Luis Obispo.

According to police, patrol officers responded to the 1700 block of Garden Street for a reported traffic collision involving a white sedan and an unoccupied parked vehicle.

When officers arrived, they found the driver seated inside the sedan and showing signs of intoxication, police said.

Authorities said the driver was not injured in the collision but was arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence.

Police reported finding nine empty BuzzBall containers and one partially empty BuzzBall container on the vehicle’s floorboard.
