Paso Lotus Club tours Highway 229 during county drive
Seven Lotus vehicles traveled from Atascadero to Templeton for lunch
– The Paso Lotus Club held a group drive on May 7, beginning at Paloma Creek Park in Atascadero.
Seven Lotus vehicles traveled east on Highway 58 before continuing onto Highway 229. The route included curved and banked sections of roadway through San Luis Obispo County.
Dave Low and his guest, Mary, led the drive in a yellow Super 7 while wearing a leather auto racing cap and goggles. Bob Klemme and Karen followed in a silver Emira. Richard Murray drove an orange Elise. Obie and Joy Silverwood traveled in a blue Emira. Steve Carle drove a black and green Emira. Dennis and Marla Sol traveled in a blue Elan. Dave and Barbara Gunn drove a yellow Emira.
The group ended the drive at the Pig Iron restaurant in Templeton, where members shared lunch and conversation.
