Nederlander Concerts has acquired Vina Robles Amphitheatre and adjacent properties in Paso Robles, expanding the company’s presence on California’s Central Coast.

The 3,000-capacity outdoor amphitheater opened in 2013 and has received multiple industry recognitions, including being named “Best Live Music Venue” by New Times SLO for the 10th year in 2026. The venue has also received nominations for Amphitheatre of the Year by the International Entertainment Buyers Association and Best Small Outdoor Venue by Pollstar.

“This marks an exciting new chapter for both Vina Robles Amphitheatre and Nederlander,” Nederlander Concerts Chief Executive Officer Alex Hodges said in a statement. “The local team can take great pride in what they’ve built. We value their thoughtful approach to working with artists, promoters, and fans.”

Hodges said the current team will remain in place following the acquisition.

According to the announcement, the acquisition builds on the work of late founder Hans Nef and retired managing partner Hans-R. Michel, who developed the venue as part of a larger wine country destination that includes hospitality operations and a proposed boutique hotel.

The property also includes the Vina Robles Hospitality Center, a nearly 14,200-square-foot mission-style building completed in 2007. The facility includes a tasting room, banquet facility with a commercial kitchen, and an outdoor dining terrace that seats more than 300 guests.

Since opening, the venue has hosted performances by artists including Neil Young, Bonnie Raitt, Rod Stewart, Chicago, Ringo Starr, Slayer, Phoebe Bridgers, Eddie Vedder, Leon Bridges, Kacey Musgraves, Banda MS, Gipsy Kings, and Pepe Aguilar. Comedians including Kevin Hart, Jim Gaffigan, Hasan Minhaj, and Amy Schumer have also performed at the venue.

Looking ahead, Nederlander Concerts said it plans to expand programming at the venue and continue working with promoters to bring additional performances to the Central Coast. The company said more than 20 shows have already been confirmed for the 2026 season, and dates are being held for 2027 performances.
