Animal sanctuary plans sip and paint fundraiser
June 14 fundraiser will include art instruction, wine, and snacks
– From the Heart Animal Sanctuary will host a Sip and Paint fundraiser at Jada Winery in Paso Robles on June 14 at noon.
The fundraiser will include painting instruction from local artist Selina Denton, along with wine, snacks, and art supplies. General admission costs $44.52, and proceeds from the event will support the sanctuary’s operations and animal care programs.
The event will take place at Jada Winery, located at 5620 Vineyard Drive in Paso Robles.

According to the organization, From the Heart Animal Sanctuary provides permanent care for unwanted and medically fragile animals at Fat Goat Farm in Paso Robles.
The sanctuary also uses animals as part of educational art programs for children ages 5-12. According to the announcement, Joe Thomas teaches children about animals’ physical and behavioral characteristics through drawing and painting activities.
Jada Vineyard & Winery produces Rhone- and Bordeaux-style wines on its estate vineyard on the west side of Paso Robles.
