Paso Robles Lions Club opens ticket sales for annual chicken barbecue
– The Paso Robles Lions Club has opened ticket sales for its annual chicken barbecue fundraiser scheduled for July 11.
The drive-thru event will take place from noon to 2 p.m. in the Walmart parking lot.
Tickets cost $60 and include a barbecue meal for four. Each meal includes a whole chicken, beans, bread, salad, and dessert.
According to the organization, proceeds from the fundraiser will support Paso Robles High School scholarships, sportsmanship awards, and other local community projects.
The club said the event supports its mission of “We Serve Paso Robles.”

The Paso Robles Lions Club said funds raised through the event will be returned to the community through its student support programs and other local projects.
