Affectionate cat looks for a forever home
– The Adoptable Pet of the Week this week is Smarties, a 7- to 10-year-old cat available for adoption through North County Paws Cause.
Smarties is described as reserved when meeting new people, but becomes affectionate once she feels comfortable. She enjoys being brushed and petted, gets along well with other cats, and likes spending quiet evenings with her people. She has also recently started playing.
According to North County Paws Cause, Smarties lost her previous owner and has spent time rebuilding her confidence before becoming available for adoption.
Smarties is spayed, vaccinated, house trained, and recently received dental care. She has tested negative for feline immunodeficiency virus and feline leukemia virus.
