Atascadero mixer connects professionals from across the region

Free tech mixer connects Central Coast remote workers

Entrepreneurs, job seekers, and remote workers invited

    – The Central Coast Tech Networking Mixer will return to BridgeWorks in downtown Atascadero on Tuesday, June 16, bringing together entrepreneurs, remote workers, job seekers, and technology professionals from across the region.

Since launching in 2024, the mixer has attracted attendees from throughout the Central Coast and beyond. Organizers said participants have included professionals from Monterey and others who continued attending throughout job searches before returning to celebrate new career opportunities with the group.

“We live in a world where it’s easier than ever to connect online, yet many people are still looking for genuine community,” said Albert Qian, founder of Albert’s List. “Some attendees come for career opportunities, some come to share ideas, and some are remote workers whose spouses have finally told them to get out of the house and spend time with people who understand what they do.”

The event comes as summer begins in San Luis Obispo County and shortly after commencement ceremonies at Cal Poly. Organizers said the mixer provides an opportunity for recent graduates and experienced professionals to meet members of the local business and technology community.

Attendees regularly include entrepreneurs, recruiters, software professionals, marketers, remote employees of Fortune 500 companies, small business owners, and people exploring new career paths. Discussions often focus on current projects, emerging technology, business ideas, hiring trends, and life on the Central Coast.

Organizers said the June gathering will be the last mixer before the California Mid-State Fair begins.

Pizza will be available for attendees, and guests are encouraged to bring business cards or LinkedIn QR codes for networking.

The event is free and open to the public.
