– The Adoptable Pet of the Week this week is Gladys, a 4-year-old female Shih Tzu available for adoption through Novy’s Ark Dog Rescue and Adoption.
Gladys came from Fresno after being found wandering the streets. According to the rescue, she was severely matted and covered in foxtails, including in her eyes. The foxtails were removed, and her eye is healing well, according to the rescue.
The rescue describes Gladys as friendly, easy-going, housebroken, and affectionate. She would do best in a home where people are home often. Gladys gets along with other dogs but has not been tested with cats.
