Three school board seats open in November election
Filing period runs from July 13 through Aug. 7
– The filing period for candidates seeking election to the Paso Robles Joint Unified School District Board of Trustees opens July 13 and closes Aug. 7, with three seats scheduled to appear on the Nov. 3 General Election ballot.
The seats represent Trustee Areas 1, 2, and 4 and carry four-year terms.
To be eligible to serve as a school board trustee, candidates must be a U.S. citizen and at least 18 years old, not be legally disqualified from holding civil office, be a registered voter residing within the boundaries of the Paso Robles Joint Unified School District, and reside within Trustee Area 1, 2, or 4, depending on the seat being sought.
Residents can determine their trustee area by viewing trustee area maps on the district website.
