– Linda George has announced her Paso First campaign for the 2026 Paso Robles City Council election.
George received 17% of the vote in her 2024 grassroots campaign and said she plans to continue meeting with District 1 residents by walking neighborhoods, knocking on doors, and listening to community members.
Since the 2024 election, George said she has remained involved by attending City Council meetings and advocating for solutions related to homelessness, public safety, housing, cannabis regulations, property rights, responsible spending, and other issues affecting the community.
George said she wants to implement a homeless work program called “Paso Works.”
“I’ve spoken with many of you over the past two years and I’m grateful for those who continue to encourage and support me,” George said. “I will continue to meet with residents, listen to your concerns, and work hard to earn your trust and your vote. My commitment is simple: Paso First.”
George said her campaign will focus on accountability, common-sense leadership, and putting the interests of District 1 residents first.
“We need to continue to build a foundation as we grow. A new era of new ideas and a new council free of the usuals,” George said.
George said candidates are currently seeking nominations and that she wants to show residents her work before seeking their nomination and vote.
“I have no conflict of interest, my only interest is you,” George said.
