Free online presentation explains Medicare benefits
– The Health Insurance Counseling and Advocacy Program will offer a free virtual presentation Aug. 18 for people interested in understanding Medicare benefits.
The Zoom presentation will begin at 1 p.m. and provide a comprehensive introduction to Medicare.
“HICAP is offering the presentations to help beneficiaries and caregivers better understand this comprehensive health care program”, announced Tamara Broder, HICAP Program Manager.
The program offers free, unbiased Medicare information and counseling. It does not sell, recommend, or endorse specific insurance products. The local Area Agency on Aging provides the services.
