Main Street Association will screen ‘The Sting’ at Park Cinemas
– Downtown Paso Robles Main Street Association will present a screening of the 1973 film “The Sting” during Film Noir Night on Sunday, Sept. 6, at Park Cinemas in Downtown Paso Robles.
The event will begin at 7 p.m. The film stars Robert Redford, Paul Newman, Robert Shaw, Ray Walston, Eileen Brennan, and Charles Durning.
Set in 1930s Chicago, the comedy follows a grifter and a veteran con artist who plan to fleece a homicidal racketeer through a phony racetrack scam. The film won seven Academy Awards and received a Golden Globe nomination.
Tickets cost $20 online, plus a service fee, or at the box office. Organizers recommend reserved seating. Attendees can purchase tickets at www.parkcinemas.com or at the Park Cinemas box office, 1100 Pine St., Paso Robles.
