Monthly club meeting Wednesday will feature post-Vietnam veteran Mark Tracy
– Creston Village Assisted Living and Memory Care will host its monthly Veterans Club meeting on Wednesday, Nov. 4, at 10 a.m. at 1919 Creston Road in Paso Robles, with coffee, donuts, and a slideshow.
The group will show a Veterans History Project video interview with Creston Village resident Mark Tracy, a post-Vietnam veteran.
The club meets at 10 a.m. on the first Wednesday of each month. Veterans attend with spouses, children, brothers, and sisters, and guest speakers stop by periodically to talk about their services, according to Creston Village. The group also sometimes watches videos from the Veterans History Project, in which several Creston Village residents have taken part.
“Every month, somebody walks in with a story they haven’t told in years,” said Adam Bramwell, executive director of Creston Village Assisted Living and Memory Care.
In 2024, four Creston Village residents who are veterans traveled to Washington, D.C., on an Honor Flight, Paso Robles Daily News previously reported.
