It’s time to consider running for office in Templeton

The nomination period for local government candidates has been open since the 14th and will close on August 8th unless there are no incumbents running, in which case, the nomination period will extend to August 13th.

Two seats are open on both the Templeton Unified School District (TUSD) Board of Trustees and the Templeton Community Services District (TCSD) Board of Directors. To date, no one has filed papers to run.

This is an important election as both the school district and TCSD are facing some important decisions and challenges that will have a long-range impact on both districts.
