School district selects final candidates for new superintedent

The Paso Robles Public Schools Board of Trustees announced this morning the names of four finalists for the vacant District Superintendent position. They are, in no particular order, as follows:
- Mr. Rich Merlo of Corcoran Unified School District
- Dr. Hugo Pedroza of Lompoc Unified School District
- Dr. Cynthia Toews of St. Helena Unified School District
- Mr. Chris Williams of Central Unified School District
Theses finalist were selected from a pool of 38 qualified applicants. The board will conduct a series of interviews of the four candidates over the next week, including a “Stakeholder Panel” interview consisting of community and school district members, before making their final decision, according to a press release from the district.
