Free triathon clinic this weekend in Morro Bay
All Out Events and Morro Bay Tri team up to offer free clinic at Coleman Park August 23

Have you ever pondered the thought of participating in a triathlon? Maybe you are past the point of pondering and you just need some motivation, a few tips on how to prepare, want to learn some rules surrounding the event, or seek to connect with other like-minded individuals. Thanks to the friendly and experienced folks at All Out Events and Morro Bay Tri, a free clinic will be offered on Saturday, Aug. 23 at Coleman Park in Morro Bay to help all potential participants prepare for the Race the Rock triathlon, taking place in Morro Bay on Nov. 2.
“We will have free on-site clinics designed to get you familiar with the course and the area,” said Kristin Horowitz of All Out Events. “We will also cover basic USAT rules, transition, and some helpful tips to help you prepare for your race.”
The Aug. 23 clinic takes place from 6:30-10:30 a.m. and includes:
6:30 – 7 a.m.: Meet at Coleman Park and discuss USAT rules
7-8 a.m.: Swim session & swim to bike transition
8-9:15 a.m.: Bike session & bike to run transition
9:15-10:30 a.m.: Run session & question and answer session
