County road crews pave San Miguel streets

San-Miguel-Road-workSan Luis Obispo County road crews are paving over rough and damaged stretches of roadway in downtown San Miguel. The county crews are utilizing a grant to pay for the improvements.

Recently, an eight man crew paved a spur off Mission Street that connects 9th Street with San Luis Obispo Street. The work is near the San Miguel Mission.

Work is scheduled to begin soon to expand San Miguel’s park at K and 13th Streets, near the San Miguel Library.

Our roads out here weren't bad but I'm sure it will be nice to have freshly paved roads. What they really need to do is to remove the rediculous one way alley signs! They were never needed and such a pain for those living in the alleys. Now that would be a real improvement!
