Four young suspects arrested for felony burglary

    Skinner, Tucker, Esparza arrested

Joel Skinner, Phillip Tucker, and Matthew Esparza were arrested following a burglary at a local business.

On Monday night, at approximately 11:55 p.m., Paso Robles police officers were dispatched to the 700 block of 24th St. for a burglary alarm activation. Upon arrival, officers discovered the front window to the business, Campo Ceramics, had been smashed.

There was also extensive damage to the interior of the business as the suspects smashed several glass display cabinets in order to steal the property. The initial loss to the business was estimated to be approximately $4,000 in merchandise including clothing and jewelry.

Several hours later, officers were able to locate a subject in the 1200 block of Spring St. who matched the description to the suspects captured on the victim business’ security cameras. Phillip Tucker, 18, of Paso Robles was found to have stolen property in his possession and was placed under arrest, according to a police report.

As additional evidence was located, the investigation continued with the assistance of the special enforcement team. Throughout the next twelve hours, three more suspects were located and arrested for their involvement in the theft.

During these arrests, stolen property was recovered that was identified as belonging to the victim business. The following suspects have been arrested in connection with the commercial burglary:

    • Phillip Tucker, 18, of Paso Robles- Burglary (felony), conspiracy to commit a crime (felony), grand theft (felony), and false report of a crime (misdemeanor).

The part where the 14 real olds name is undisclosed based on age is travesty. Now I'm not saying we should release his name; so, I'll get to what I am saying. This is a non-story. A what? A non-story. A waste of time. We're not alarming anyone of anything new. All were doing is smearing these kids through the dirt. The difference between 14 and 19 is five years. Duh. These kids don't have any real world adult experience. Now there getting some. This is an opportunity to learn, to grow, to become an adult. What are we doing here? We're making it harder. The media is labeling these kids as bad people rather giving the possibility of change, hope. Let's label this as bad behavior and not write this article. Let's keep there dirty laundry in the hamper. This isn't a business we as a society should be in.

If it is your opinion that a life, in this case, three lives have a price tag, you are gravely mistaken.

i don't see why some of you are laughing about this, that 14 year old is my best friend. yeah he did something totally stupid yes, but you have to think of the family members and one's who love them. this is a very hard time for me and his family which i know very well, so next time you want to post some stupid comment about how they screwed up. think about how the family or friends are taking it and how they'll feel after reading it.

A judge will instruct a jury that ignorance of the law, which would be EXTREMELY ignorant, is no excuse, nor are extenuating circumstances like stealing for a costly operation. That said, if you have proof that they are extremely stupid and/or have a relative that needs said operation, I'm sure you should inform the prosecution and see if it may help them with sentencing.

    Parker Olinde

Who robs a ceramic store? Hahaha

    Jimmy Lemen

Don't worry everybody. They're white. They'll probably just get probation and maybe a month or two in county.

Unless they have priors. Then they're fucked.
