Highway 101 and 1 lane closures this week
A pavement crack sealing operation on U.S. Highway 101 and State Route 1 in San Luis Obispo and Pismo Beach will result in the following lane closures next week:
• Alternating lanes of southbound US Highway 101 will be closed from Price Street to Wadsworth Avenue on Tuesday, March 10 and Wednesday, March 11 from 9 am until 1 pm.
• Alternating lanes of southbound State Route 1 will be closed from Highland Drive to Kansas Avenue on Thursday, March 12 and Friday, March 13 from 9 am until 2 pm.
Electronic message boards will advise motorists about this road work. The California Highway Patrol (CHP) will ensure a safe condition for everyone. Motorist delays should not exceed 15 minutes.
Caltrans reminds motorists to move over and slow down when driving through highway construction zones.
