Rock and gem show returns April 23-24 

Show marks 25th anniversary for Santa Lucia Rockhounds

–The Santa Lucia Rockhounds are presenting their annual rock and gem show April 23 from 10 a.m. – 5 p.m. and April 24 from 10 a.m. – 4 p.m. at the Paso Robles Events Center. Admission is $3 for adults, free for kids and active military. The first 100 kids in the door on Saturday and Sunday will receive a free piece of petrified wood.

This year there will be a special volcano demonstration by returning guest speaker Richard Wade, “The Dinosaur Guy.”

The show will feature kids activities, drawing prizes, dealers, exhibits, geode cracking, jewelry, crystals, lapidary demonstrations, fossils, gems and more.
