And Be Boutique wins wine fest window decorating contest

Every May the Paso Robles Wine Country Alliance and Paso Robles Downtown Main Street Association host a window decorating contest for downtown merchants paired with Paso Robles wineries. The contest is held in conjunction with the alliance’s Paso Robles Wine Festival that is held the third Saturday every May.
Paso Robles Wine Country Alliance Membership Coordinator Candice Sanders said that this year’s theme is “Grow Wild at Wine Festival.” Judges from both the alliance and Main Street visited each merchant to judge the window display. “[The wineries and merchants] work collaboratively together,” Sanders said.
“It’s been going for quite a while,” Main Street Executive Director Norma Moye said. “It’s fun. It’s really fun for the merchants and the wineries. … [The window displays] were very creative. They did some very interesting things. They were all very hard to judge because they were really good.”
This year, And Be Boutique, the store in front of Paso Underground at 1140 Pine St., won first place with Copia and L’Adventure. Second place went to J. Dusi Wines at Divine Style and Soles at 1325 Park St. Third place went to Zenaida Cellars at Jayde, 823 12th St.
