– An estimated 4,000 people attended Thursday night’s Concert in the Park featuring Monte Mills and the Lucky Horseshoe Band.
Traditionally, Monte Mills attracts the biggest crowd of the year, said Linda Holt with the city’s parks and recreation department. She says people are learning the concerts have moved from Friday to Thursday evenings at the request of local restaurants and retailers, so attendance is down from years prior. The intent is to free up parking in the downtown area on Friday nights.
It appears the change of day did not bother many for Monte Mills!
It was a great concert on a beautiful night in Paso!
Super concerts, great time, only mentioning that they would start a bit later, perhaps 6 30, giving people time to arrive from work, etc.
