Traffic collision reported on US 101 and Wellsona
The California Highway Patrol responded Monday to the scene of a traffic collision that occurred at southbound US-101, and Wellsona Road, around 2:15 p.m.
CHP confirmed the involvement of a sedan and a semi truck. One party was being transported to Sierra Vista Hospital.
Passers-by have been reporting seeing a sheet in the sedan – but there has been no confirmed fatalities from officials yet, reports say.
San Luis Ambulance was transporting the female driver of a four-door, possibly Toyota sedan to Sierra Vista Hospital with pain to her lower extremities and abrasions – she reported remembering the entire event.
Reports are the semi truck hit the vehicle on the passenger side and both Southbound lanes are blocked. No further information is available at this time. Updates will be posted.
I was having lunch eith friends and they saw this accident happen just about 10 min before there were about 5-7 military soliders that finished eating and went to the gas station next door they were the real first responders once again there are NO words to say THANK YOU they jumped into action and did what needed to be done!!!! THANK YOU, YOU ALL KNOW WHO YOU ARE!!!!
