Turkey trot returns Nov. 21
– The Templeton Recreation Department is hosting the 8th Annual Turkey Trot Family Fun Run on Saturday, Nov. 21. Participants may choose from a 5k, 10k, or 1 mile course. The 5k and 10k runs start at 8 a.m. The 1-mile run follows at 9 a.m. The starting point for each run begins in front of the Templeton Fire Department located at 206 5th St.
There will be new routes for the 5k and 10k runs featured this year. As usual, the 1-mile Kids-Loop will be three laps around Templeton Park.
Pre-registration by Nov. 13 guarantees that all participants running in the 5k and 10k will receive a t-shirt, race bib, and a raffle ticket for one of the many prizes that will be handed out. The 1-mile Kids Loop participants will receive a raffle ticket and a race bib; in addition to a participation ribbon.
Pre-registration opens on Sept. 15.

The cost for pre-registration for the 5k and 10k trot is $40. The 1-mile Kids Loop is $5. The day of event registration is $50.
