Adoptable pet of the week: Chica 

– The featured dog of the week is Chica from Second Chance at Love, a dog rescue and sanctuary in Templeton that takes in abandoned, neglected, abused or abandoned dogs.

This sweet 9-year-old, 55-pound girl is without a family but that doesn’t get this happy girl down. She meets and greets every person with great exuberance and appreciation and is ready to share her darling personality with a loving family.

Chica needs a good leader. She’s a great dog to take out on the trail in the morning and relax with you each evening.

She’s a wonderful dog, which all the volunteers love, but she’s ready to find her new home.
