Dog show running at event center

– This weekend the San Luis Obispo Kennel Club is putting on their annual dog show at the Paso Robles fairgrounds. The event is free to the public, including free parking. It is a chance to learn about different breeds and visit with fellow animal lovers. The event coincides with national Pet Appreciation Week.
Judging begins both Saturday and Sunday at 8 a.m., and Best in Group and the Best in Show judging will begin at 1 p.m.
There are multiple vendors offering dog related gifts and supplies, and a food vendor. On Saturday there will be a $500 scholarship given out to the Best Junior Handler.
