There’s still time to buy tickets and donate items for this weekend’s fundraiser and benefit auction being held for Templeton High School football player and student Isaac Lindsey. The event will take place on Saturday, Nov. 21 from 4-9 p.m. at Home Sweet Home Cottage and Ranch, located at 282 Templeton Cemetery Road, off Theatre Drive.

After suffering a traumatic head injury during football season, Lindsey was treated at Sierra Vista Hospital before being transferred to Santa Clara Valley Medical Center. The Lindsey family has witnessed a tremendous outpouring of support from the community, including fundraisers and other events.

For Saturday’s event, a wide variety of auction items have already been donated including Laker tickets with a gift certificate to The Palms Restaurant, a helicopter ride, a pig hunt, a five course dinner for six at McPhee’s, $1,000 in products and labor from Templeton Glass, sporting event tickets, getaways, restaurant and shopping gift certificates, and more.

Tickets for the event are $25 for ages 13 and up; children 6-13, $10 and free for children under five. Purchase tickets at Upscale Resale or the Templeton Rec Center, both located on Main Street in Templeton, or at the door on Saturday.

Entry fee includes face painting and games for the youngsters, entertainment by local band Soundhouse, and a Santa Maria-style barbecue dinner. Barrelhouse Brewing Company and Johansing Vineyards will be on hand pouring; beer and wine available for purchase.

“We are still in need of auction items, donations, and volunteers,” said Penny Fuentes, a Templeton resident and close friend of the Lindsey family.

Send an email to teamisaacauction@gmail.com or contact Fuentes at (805) 674-8598 for more information on volunteering or donating auction items for the event.
