    Nearly 2,000 residents lose power due to downed line 

    power-line-–A downed power line had 1,921 Paso Robles residents without power Monday morning, according to PG&E External Communications Representative Blair Jones. The area affected was near North River Road. The reason for the outage was a broken power line.

    The power outage began at approximately 9:43 a.m., and by 10:25, 1,916 customers had their power restored. The remaining five customers had their power restored at approximately 1:51 Monday afternoon.

    PG & E notified us in San Miguel, just over the line in Monterey County, that we were out, but we weren't. We didn't want them to change their mind.
