Main Street to screen ‘The Apartment’ for Valentine Movie Night
–“The Apartment”, the 1960 Winner of five Academy Awards, comes to Paso Robles Park Cinemas for Valentine Movie Night Sunday, Feb. 14. at 7 p.m.
The Billy Wilder classic stars Jack Lemmon, Shirley MacLaine, and Fred MacMurray. The story is about a man who tries to rise in his company by letting its executives use his apartment for trysts, but complications and a romance of his own ensue. The film was nominated for 10 Academy Awards and won five – Best Picture, Best Director, Best Screenplay, Best Art Direction and Best Editing.
Champagne and chocolates or popcorn and soda are included in the $12 ticket. The event starts at 7 p.m., and attendees are encouraged to arrive early for best seating.
