Gere Sibbach announces support for supervisor candidate
Atascadero treasurer and former San Luis Obispo Auditor-Controller endorses Steve Martin
–Retired San Luis Obispo Auditor-Controller Gere Sibbach recently announced his support for Steve Martin for Supervisor.

“I have known Steve all my life and know he will be an effective, informed and fair representative for the people of the 1st District,” Sibbach said. “He has a record of conservative budget management.”
Gere Sibbach was first elected San Luis Obispo County Auditor-Controller in 1990 and was re-elected numerous times, serving until 2013. Prior to his election he served as the County’s Deputy Auditor-Controller from 1983 to 1986 and Hospital CFO from 1986 to 1990. He also served as Finance Director/Treasurer for the City of Morro Bay from 1980 to 1983. He currently serves as the part-time City Treasurer for Atascadero after being elected in 2014. He previously served as the City Treasurer for Atascadero from 1987 to 1990.
