Youth Arts Foundation to present, ‘Spider-Man a Musical’

–For their Spring production, Paso Robles Youth Arts Foundation will present, “Spider-Man a Musical,” written by PRYAF’s Drama Department and Show Director/Drama Teacher, Kim Whitney-Sundberg.

Spider-Man a Musical boasts a cast of 40 students showcasing their passion for theater, voice and dance. A production four years in the making, the right cast and director finally converged to tell their story of Spider-Man.
PRYAF Drama Department took selections from Spider-Man the Musical’s soundtrack by U2’s Bono and the Edge, and put them together with a script written by Whitney-Sundberg and PRYAF Drama students. “It has been 100-percent classroom driven and our own interpretation of what’s on Broadway, based upon the music,” explains Whitney-Sundberg. “We wrote the script to inspire and keep you thinking.” The audience will walk away with life-long lessons about how to take the high road and appreciate the family that you call your own.”
