Paix Sur Terre profiled by Los Angeles Times 

–On Saturday, March 12, the Los Angeles Times in their “Wines of the Week” column profiled mourvedre, “the red grape variety that may well qualify as California’s most underused, despite ample evidence it is marvelously simpatico with California Terrorir.” Among three California mourvedres profiled was “The Other One,” from winemaker Ryan Pease of Paix Sur Terre.

The profile says in part, “This one, from Glenrose on the west side, achieves a heady intensity, at once generous and balanced….a very pure red-fruited intensity of flavor girded by firm tannins.”
