Brecon Winery receives Architecture Merit Award
Award recognizes recent ‘facelift’ undertaken by winery
–Brecon Estate Winery recently completed a facelift and reorganization of an existing production facility and tasting room by stripping away faux-historic decoration and centering an indoor-outdoor wine-tasting experience around a oak tree. They received a merit award from the American Institute of Architects for the project.
The jury noted that the real strength of this project is in, “its simplicity and its restraint.”
